As you can see I am not just one thing, and I do not just have knowledge, I am not a fitness guru that never had to battle the bulge or never faced the challenge of having to overcome a bad habit that sneaked it’s way into my life.  I had to rethink the way in which I have been helping clients as all the tools in my belt regarding physical activity and nutrition suddenly were not so clear cut anymore after the age of 40 and baby nr 3 coming in those years. While discovering what is different this time and why it is suddenly so hard I realised that much like our relationships we have a relationship with food and exercise and our bodies and that there is more often than not an underlying barrier that is keeping us from moving forward.

I want to help you build that bridge between that healthy self you are trying to step into and the reason why you are not making it or even self-sabotage.

I see a common denominator among my clients– the goal to live a healthy lifestyle.

To not merely be free from any disease, but to live the best life they can being able to play with their kids and feel good about themselves.

However, all at the same time, I’m seeing some common patterns and narratives.

I started a new diet only to give up after 9 days.

I deprived myself of the right amount of food only to binge eat after a long and tiring day of working.

I started going to the gym, then later on, stopped and lost drive.

If this sounds more like you, you’ve come to the right place.

If it was simply a matter of following a few simple steps, or an exercise routine, we all would be in perfect shape.

But apart from eating a balanced diet and exercise, seeing it through making the right changes for you, sticking with it that is what makes you overcome.

You see: You have control over it right here and right now.

It is the things we do without thinking about those little habits that are born out of comfort, self-validation or self-preservation. Sometimes they are things we are most scared to admit to ourselves. THOSE are the things that keeps us away from living a healthier, happier life!  Those are the things that we need to identify, deal with and then move forward.

Yes true by doing certain daily actions we can instill a new habit, but when life gives us a curve-ball, if we have not dealt with those issues we fall right back into our bad habits that are detrimental to our health.
